His Mind Is Still So Strong And Fully There, Which Makes Every Moment With Him Even More Meaningful. In The Coming Days, He Will Be Receiving His Feeding Tube, And We Are Waiting For His Custom Wheelchair To Come In. We Are Also Getting An Eye Gaze Communication Device That Will Help Him “Speak” Again Using His Eyes. We Are Hopeful This Will Give Him Back A Piece Of His Voice. Right Now, Our Focus Is Making Him As Comfortable As Possible. That Means Making Necessary Renovations To Their Home So It Can Better Support His Needs—Especially For Things Like Bathing And Accessibility. One Of The Biggest Needs We Are Facing Is Transportation. His Custom Wheelchair Will Not Be Able To Fold, And Getting Him In And Out Of A Regular Vehicle For Appointments Is Becoming Extremely Difficult. We Are Currently Raising Money To Help Get A Handicap Accessible Van So We Can Safely Transport Him To And From His Appointments And Give Him A Little More Ease And Dignity In This Process. This Journey Isn’t Easy, But We Are Taking It One Day At A Time, Leaning On Our Faith, And Holding Onto Every Moment We Get With Him.
