This might be a controversial take, but it's a conversation we need to have. Let me know your honest thoughts in the comments. I posted this because I genuinely stand by what I said. In my opinion, abortion has become too normalized, even though it involves ending a life. That’s why I used strong words like calling it weak because I believe taking responsibility is important. When I said “how hard is it to carry a baby for nine months?” I meant that pregnancy is temporary. Nine months is a limited period of time, while the life that can come from it is permanent. From my perspective, it doesn’t make sense that abortion is often treated like an easy or quick solution. I also mentioned that people say women can die without access to abortion. I’m aware that pregnancy can have risks and that difficult situations exist, but my point was that those cases are rare and shouldn’t be used as the main argument to justify abortion in general. This post wasn’t meant to personally attack anyone. It was meant to express my opinion and start a conversation about responsibility and the value of life.
