Before transitioning to beauty and fashion, most of you know me from showcasing my life as a low-income Black student and advocating other Black students at Brown. I stand today proud to have attended Brown and recognize that I wouldn’t be the Black woman I am today if it wasn’t for the beautiful people, memories, and experiences that Brown was able to provide me within my 4 years. I share this video to the world as a reminder of how truly beautiful and joyful my Brown community is and this will not break our spirit. No child or adult should have to witness any form of violence disrupt their education or day to day life.
