🚪TUTORIAL ON HOW TO MAKE SHAKER CABINET DOORS! I just finished making my shaker cabinet doors and drawer fronts for the built-ins the other day! I wanted to share with you my go-to way on making them on my table saw using the tongue and groove method. Making the cuts on a tester piece first and dry-fitting is essential. You will need to make tiny micro adjustments to the fence and height of the blade in order to get the perfect fit for your 1/4” inner panel and for the tongue to fit in the grooves. 🔔 Here’s some other helpful tips for measuring and cutting before making the tongues and grooves shown in this reel (Because do you know how hard it is to make a full tutorial in 90 secs? 🫠): 📌 Make sure the 1x3s for the rails (horizontal pieces) are cut 1” longer than what is visible on the assembled door. This is because you will be making the tongues 1/2” on each that will fit inside the 1/2” deep grooves. 📌 Similarly, cut your 1/4” plywood/MDF for the inner panel 1” longer both width-wise and length-wise since it will be sitting in the 1/2” groove on all sides. Theres many ways you can make shaker cabinet doors, but this way is my go-to way to create a door that is seamless and perfect every time! I hope you found this tutorial helpful and give it a try 😉 LIKE, SAVE/SHARE, and FOLLOW for more DIY and tutorials! 😘😘😘 . . . . . #tutorial #DIY #shakercabinets #shakerdoors #shakerdoor
